Face each other and 1-2-Switch!
Look at your opponent, not the screen!
Detach the Joy-Con from the console, hand one to your opponent and bam! It's game time!
Anyone can play 1-2-Switch! Just lock eyes with your opponent and get ready to discover the many new functions of the Joy-Con, including HD rumble and advanced motion sensors.
Here's a selection of fun ways you can face off in 1-2-Switch!
Face each other and…shoot!
Be careful you don't pull the trigger too early and shoot the ground. Aim straight for your opponent's heart and don't miss!
Are those balls inside the Joy-Con?!
It feels just like there are balls inside the Joy-Con! The trick here is to tilt the Joy-Con so the balls inside move slowly enough for you to feel them.
Face each other and…milk!
Squeeze first with your index finger, then your middle finger, just as you would with a real cow! Get your timing right and feel the milk as it flows into the cup!
Shake it - but not too much!
You can really feel the bubbles building up! Shake too hard and the bottle will blow. Try to pass the Joy-Con to the next person ripe and ready to pop!
Face each other and…swing!
As you bat the ball back and forth, you can almost start to feel a real table between you! Try switching up your style when you hit the ball to get one up over your opponent.
What's this? An eating game?
Hold the right Joy-Con's IR Motion Camera up to your mouth and eat up! The faster you can chomp, the better!
Face each other and…dance!
Pay close attention to how your opponent moves. The more accurately you can copy them, the higher your score. When it's your turn, try to strike weird poses to confuse your opponent!
There are many more games that use the new functions of the Joy-Con! See more at the official 1-2-Switch website.
Team Battle is a special play mode in which victory in a 1-2-Switch game pushes you along a game board towards your goal. After spinning to see which game you'll play, both teams face off. The winning team moves forward on the game board. A great game mode for a competitive two-player experience, or for two larger teams to go head to head. Team Battle fires up the competition to get the party started.
