In it's essence minecraft dungeons is very similar to the diablo series, however it's more lighthearted and streamlined (in a good way). You have your HERO who you control, while defeating monsters and releasing captured villagers you get more powerful gear and more talentpoints as you level up. And those talentpoints can be used to make your weapons better (like add extra damage to bow and stuff like that). There is tons of content in this game and I personally enjoy it the most because it takes place in the minecraft world and it's super rewarding to defeat some harder enemies (especially if you get sweet gear). :)
