With the Kailh switches, Glorius PC Gaming Race has developed interchangeable key switches for its GMMK (Glorius Modular Mechanical Keyboard). They are particularly easy to use there, but of course they can also be used on other keyboards or DIY projects.

The Kailh switches are compatible with SMD LEDs and can be illuminated through the transparent housing. Thanks to the MX (+) connection, the switches can also be used in keyboards equipped with Cherry MX switches. To ensure the highest possible compatibility, Cherry MX keycaps are also compatible. With a lifespan of 70 million keystrokes, the Kailh switches are extremely durable.

The box switches from Kailh have a box that surrounds the cross onto which the keycaps are attached. This ensures that the keycaps wobble less than with conventional mechanical key switches.

Kailh Box Brown switches offer the user a mixture of a pure gaming keyboard and an ideal writing keyboard. When you press the buttons you have to overcome a slight resistance, which noticeably reports the contact trigger. Since you can feel the two switching points that are very close together, you not only write noticeably faster, but you can also trigger multiple clicks one after the other with very little travel.
