Cthulhu - a fictional creature, the Great Old One, the most famous deity from the myths created by HP Lovecraft. He is called the Brother or Priest of the Old Ones, Al-Khadhulu, Kuthulu, Set-Hulhu or Chta-lhu.

 

Cthulhu lies in a tomb, sleeping in the Cyclopean city of R'lyeh at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, but when the planets align correctly, Cthulhu will come to destroy the world.

 

In the story The Call of Cthulhu, it is described as a monster with vague anthropoid shapes, an octopus head full of tentacles, huge claws and narrow dragon wings on its back.
