Valkyrie Elysium is an action RPG featuring an epic story, beautiful environments, and a new fast-paced combat system that combines strategy, action, and a unique combo system that will test your ability to think and react.
The game takes place in the distant past, in a world where Ragnarok – the End Times – looms large upon the realms.
With the last of his strength, the All-Father creates an emissary of redemption – alone Valkyrie who can become the salvation of this doomed world. As this brave warrior descends into the ruined land, she encounters many challenges… and uncovers the hidden truth behind its impending destruction.

Turbūt mažai kas žaidė Valkyrie Profile 2 ar kitus šios serijos žaidimus (nes jie buvo ant gerokai senesnių konsolių), bet matyti naują šios serijos dalį - vienas malonumas. Tiesa, čia visiškai kitoks žaidimas ir, kiek teko išbandyti demo, daugiau koridorinis dungeon-crawler nei jRPG (tiksliau, jRPG čia veik visai nedvelkia), bet viskas padaryta tikrai gerai. Tik reikia žinoti, ką perki, nes priešingai gali tekti nusivilti.
Valkyrie elysium is a weak try to revive the series, while trying something New. Developer did have some good ideas, but the end Product has too repetitive gameplay, battle mechanics are weak and story part is near non existent. Also the music is nothing near good. Whole experience is rather tiring and the game is mediocre at best. Think of it as a weaker Godfall(yeah, that bad). If you really liked Valkyrie Profile games in the past, go buy digital Lenneth instead.
Apart from the game experience, Gameroom did good job delivering me my preorder at the right day. Will certainly order more games in the Future.
